James graduated with Merit from the University of Bristol in 2019. After completing his Dental Foundation Training in the English seaside town of Worthing, he moved away from the traditional dental practice setting to gain more specialist experience. He has held roles in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and in the Community Dental Service with a paediatric focus. In 2021, he gained his Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Now, he works as a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital alongside being a part of the Ridgway team.
James’ hospital experience means he has seen and treated a wide variety of dental conditions, often for medically complex cases. He focuses on creating fun and enjoyable dental appointments to build positive foundations for future dental visits, whilst having the skill and expertise to meet your child’s dental needs.
Away from Dentistry, James is an avid sportsman and sports fan. With a particular interest in all things rugby related.
