Lauren has over 10 years’ experience in the dental industry, having worked in both NHS and private practices, hospitals and community clinics over the years. After completing a National Diploma in Dental Nursing, Lauren studied Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Birmingham and qualified with Clinical Distinction.
Lauren undertakes routine dental restorative treatment for adults and children as well as the provision of hygiene services. With this extensive clinical experience she uses evidence based practice as an integral part of her clinical decision making. Lauren keeps up to date with the ever-evolving field of dentistry and continues to further her knowledge and expand her skill set by keeping up to date with the latest developments in the area of oral hygiene. These include materials and technology by attending courses regularly to learn about advances of treatment that are more effective and less invasive for patients. Lauren can offer hygiene services under direct access, without having to see the dentist first and has a growing interest in preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
In her downtime, Lauren enjoys playing netball, travelling, drawing and painting and playing the piano.

Gamze is a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist and therapist qualifying at Kings College London. Her goal is to improve patients’ oral health and encourage them by being a part of their journey in sustaining good oral measures.
Gamze also has a degree in Criminology – to combine both her studies, she completed her final years dissertation in forensic dentistry.
Gamze has a special interest in treating paediatric patients. As a therapist Gamze can carry out examinations on children, as well as treatments, including fillings and extractions. She has a kind and caring nature and has a special way of treating nervous patients.
Gamze speaks fluent English and Turkish, and enjoys travelling, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.

Melody qualified with a bachelors in Oral Health in South Africa in 2013, where she gained her core skills and knowledge in dental hygiene and therapy. Immigrated to the United Kingdom where she gained years of clinical experience and passionately completed her MSc in Advanced Minimal Intervention at Kings College London in 2020.

Dental Hygienist
Jenna originally came from South Korea as a child. Originally having studied psychology, she decided to change industries and was a dental nurse for 6 years before qualifying as a dental hygienist. She volunteers as a dental clinician for the homeless in London as well as abroad.
Her interest in psychology gives her a keen sense of understanding when it comes to patient care, and she continues to further her knowledge through regular courses.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys yoga, cooking, reading and playing various instruments.

Caroline Muir qualified as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2008. Prior to this she was a Dental Nurse for seven years. She strives to provide a calm, professional and caring environment for her patients. Her approach is gentle, aiming to make her patients feel at ease. In her spare time she can be found at her studio sculpting, visiting art galleries or at a gig.
Dental Hygienist
Johanne qualified as a dentist in her home town Bogotá, Colombia following the graduation she worked mainly in private practice and hospital. She moved to New York where she worked with experiences dentist and gained a several experience in all aspects of dentistry .
Came to the Uk registered as a Dental Nurse and then a qualified Hygienist.
As a true professional she is passionate about dental health and she is determined to give people the best dental care as possible . Her favourite part of the job is taking care of the patients with periodontal diseases, educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey to improve and maintain good periodontal health. Patients love her gentle and individuality approach. She regularly attends courses and training to develop knowledge and skills in her field .
Dental Nurse
Bimla Rai is a dental nurse having more than 14 years of experience in NHS and Private practice. She completed her NEBDN Diploma in dental nursing in 2010. She has also completed various courses such as Oral health education, fluoride application, taking impressions etc.
Bimla joined Ridgeway in April 2021.
Apart from her profession, she likes travelling, hiking, cooking vegan foods and loves indoor plants.
Practice Manager
Lyn entered the world of dentistry in 1979 as a nurse for 15 years before qualifying as a practice manager and is in charge of ensuring our patients at Ridgway receive the best possible care. Outside of work Lyn loves driving fast cars.

Shaynee is qualified as a dental nurse and has worked in various practices. She has also spent time teaching and assessing student nurses in their NVQ course at Merton college.
Shaynee is trained in asepsis and assisting in the placement of implants. She was given the opportunity to become a Paramedic, and worked within the London ambulance service on their front line for 18months. Shaynee found the job very rewarding and driving an ambulance daily to emergency calls was a fantastic life experience!
Shaynee, being the sociable person she is, has always kept in contact with her colleagues and friends from previous dental practices. When she heard of a job opening at Ridgway Dental she jumped at the chance, and felt it a great pathway for her career.
Shaynee loves to travel and has visited many countries. She thoroughly enjoyed her recent time in Thailand. She also enjoys going to the gym with friends or being at home with her partner and English Bulldog Monty!
Receptionist
Sophie joined Ridgway Dental in 2019 and is the first friendly face you see at the front desk. Sophie dedicates her time ensuring all our patients have the best experience with us from start to finish. Her bubbly and outgoing personality means she loves getting to know all our patients, making them feel at ease.
Sophie aims to further her knowledge in dentistry, developing her skills and one day hopes to become a practice manager.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys socialising with friends, going out for food and reading. She also loves spending time with her dog Chewy.
